Washing and ironing with organic essential oils and flower waters

Non perfumed washing powders can be cheaper than some of the bigger brand names. However, many of us like our clothes not only to look clean but also to smell attractive. So why not try buying a non-brand or store brand washing powder and add a few drops (approx 5-10) of your favourite organic essential oil to the fabric conditioner draw. Your clothes will come out smelling gorgeous and natural.

Another way to ensure your clothes, linen and towels smell naturally fresh is to add a of tablespoon of organic flower water to each refill of your steam iron. Lavender, rose and lemon verbena flower waters will all make your fabrics smell wonderfully fresh and vibrant.
